_ [fixies] 木更津MEET UP

SJ君とTIMと一緒に木更津fixed gearのみんなと走りに行ってきました。通称”きんたま公園”で集合して、その先にあるバンクを目指してライド。ただ、ひたすら直線…しかも景色が一切変わらないというオマケ付き。まぁでも途中にパンクやら落車やらハプニングあって面白かった！なにより事故（は別として…）なく怪我無く楽しくライドできてよかった！写真はこちら

木更津メンズには今回初めて会う人が何人かいたんだけど、みんないい人で、すごい楽しかったぜ〜。中でもtakaちゃん、始めて1ヶ月なのにSKID180とか、ウィーリーも2歩ぐらい…ノーハンドのポップアップからバニーホップとかもやってた…結構強引だったけどw若干21歳。若いっていいね！

もーさすがに俺の年になると上手い人には煽られないけど。決行そういうのは若者にまかしたみたいな感じになってる（別に自分の時代築いたわけでもないのに勝手にw）。最近はもう完全に自分との戦いオンリー。スケボーとか、若い時は自分より上手い人いると悔しくて悔しくてしょうがなかったけどね。もうそんなん張り合うの年齢的にも無理だし、みたいな。逆にどんどん上手くなっていく子みると嬉しくてしょうがないよ。

okay, since i started riding fixedgear bikes i have constantly been getting the question, "WHERE CAN I GET A NJS (KEIRIN) FRAME?". so i gathered up some information, for myself, so i can just send the URL LINK to this page instead of writing stuff from scratch. of course, anyone else in the same situation can just link to this diary. and i hope this information comes to good use for foreigners wanting a NJS KEIRIN frame. but know this, NJS KEIRIN frames are not something sold lined up in stores, and they are just as hard as getting a track frame in your country. okay, so here it goes.

good place to go on a weekday night. a lot of fixedgear bike guys meetup, drink in front of the store and stuff. go there, communicate, gather info. the owner of the shop "kita-san", works part-time, so open hours are irregular. make sure you call and check that the store is open before you go. "kita-san" is a freak on track bikes. a real keirin bike guy. he has lot's of info. ask kita-san to show you the second floor too. oh, and he doesn't speak english very well, so when you call the store, just ask "kyou ai teru?", which means "open today?" :) his wife speaks some english, and she is around the store sometimes. and if your lucky, there might be some bike guys who speaks english and maybe translate for you.

my friend daisuke owns the shop. he always has few keirin track frames in stock. daisuke is a really nice guy. has knowledge in keirin. the JAN crew always comes to the shop near close hours. so you might want to meet up with them if you're looking for someone to ride with. the JAN crew really kicks it on their bikes. especially "hakushaku", check his wheelies out while you're in tokyo.

always has interesting bike parts. the main distributor of reload bags in japan. owner minato-san is a super cool fun guy. he can speak english, so go there, talk your shit, get info, get hooked up.

NJS builder "kalavinka"'s workshop. but they also have small parts for sale. the main builder and owner, tanabe-san is a very kind man and a respectful track racer. their prices are also generous.

つーか似たようなサイトが海外にありそうだけど、探すの面倒くさいし。だったら俺が書いちゃうよみたいな。いや、ほんとはずっと誰かやってくれねぇかなぁなんて思ってたんだけど…あぁ、なんか付け足すべき情報とかあったら是非教えてください！あと間違っていることとか書いてあったりしたらご指摘お願いします。
